Cloud Computing – Part Two
I present to you, the second part of my introduction of cloud computing. Enjoy. Oh, if you haven’t read part one yet, please do it first.
Cloud Computing – Part One
Introduction
What exactly does the term “cloud computing” mean? Most likely you’ve heard the term “Cloud” before, but put together with “computing” it most likely gets big and fuzzy. Analyst’s and vendor’s still argue over how broad the term actually is, but here we will use the broad term. Basically the term means Internet (“Cloud”) development [...]
Linksys WRT160NL – Official dd-wrt support
Earlier i wrote about the router Linksys WRT160NL, and about the lack of dd-wrt or OpenWrt support. For many months now, OpenWrt has been developing a version of their custom firmware which works with WRT160NL. I’ve tried this under-development firmware earlier and currently it is still somewhat unstable, but what more can one expect of a under-development firmware. However while this has been going on it seems dd-wrt has also been busy working, and a couple of weeks ago they released a “official” build of their popular custom firmware for routers. [...]
Tutorial: Join The FreeNX Wave

The core libraries for NX are provided by NoMachineunder the GPL. FreeNX is a GPL implementation of the NX Server and NX Client Components. If you want to read more facts about this incredible program, check out: Wikipedia. In this tutorial I will tell the points I had to go through to be able to get it working. Last year (2008) I tried to [...]
